Our Kids Summer Splash was a splash of a success!
June 29, 2019 we had our Kids Summer Splash at the Knoxville airport. We had over 60 children and 45 of those heard the Gospel, with 5 believing on Jesus for the first time! We had many kids from our weekly 5-Day-Clubs in the Knoxville area, who were excited to play with their teachers.
Kids enjoyed playing minute to win it games, especially the cookie challenge where they put an Oreo on their forehead and tried to get it into their mouth without using their hands. Many kids also enjoyed the inflatable waterslide, which in order to go down they had to go through the wordless book tent and hear a Gospel presentation then they could go down as many times as their hearts desired. We also featured giant yard games like Yahtzee, Ker-plunk, and giant bubbles.
As Iowa summers can be scorching hot we offered free snow cones for a yummy treat to cool down while they are hard at play. The kids enjoyed using fun props to take fun pictures at the photo booth.
